“The Mesh is reshaping how we go to market, who we partner with, and how we invite participation and engage new customers. . . . If you embrace the Mesh you’ll discover how your business can inspire customers in a world where access trumps ownership.”

Traditional businesses follow a simple formula: create a product or service, sell it, collect money. But in the last few years a fundamentally different model has taken root-one in which consumers have more choices, more tools, more information, and more peer-to-peer power. Pioneering entrepreneur Lisa Gansky calls it the Mesh and reveals why it will soon dominate the future of business.

Mesh companies use social media, wireless networks, and data crunched from every available source to provide people with goods and services at the exact moment they need them, without the burden and expense of owning them outright. Gansky reveals how there is real money to be made and trusted brands and strong communities to be built in helping your customers buy less but use more.

Consider the explosive growth of Zipcar. By exploiting the latest technology and making it easy and affordable to have a car whenever you need one, this young company is helping to redefine personal transportation. And deeply worrying established competitors.

We live in an increasingly changing business environment, one that requires more of business professionals than in past years. The future of business lies in the magic of entrepreneurship, the art of creative problem solving, solution-eering, if you will. This demand has outgrown our traditional manner of training future business leaders on how to succeed in the world of business. Entrepreneurship continues to prove an effective strategy in problem solving.

The result of these programs is a new generation of business professionals who can identify complex problems, maximize available resources, and continually seek out new challenges in designing solutions to problems big and small. The ranking of business schools are normally based on the quality of their faculty members, campus, syllabus, and the likes, however there is no definite list of the top schools in the world. London Business School is a part of University of London and situated in central London near Regents Park. Apart from MBA, it offers degrees in finance, management, fellowship for business executives, as well as PhD programs.

Unarguably, one of the best business schools in the world, Harvard Business School is situated in Allston. No list of high status business schools can be completed without including HBS in it. It offers a two year MBA program, Doctoral Programs and Executive education.

Founded in 1958, IESE offers MBA programs, executive MBA, Global Executive MBA and a range of other business education programs.

Stanford Graduate School of Business is situated in Stanford, California and offers MBA program, public management program and global management. Unlike other business institutes, Stanford GSB has no specific degree programs with specialization in subjects like marketing or finance. MIT Sloan School of Management (1914) is located in Cambridge and offers education programs for a number of business subjects including marketing, economics, finance, information technology and Supply chain management. Most of the world’s top business schools are quite old, however International Institute for Management Development (IMD) is a relatively newer one (founded in 1990). However, it is now ranked among the world’s finest business institutes.
